Manufacturing Technical Project Management
- Bridging the gap between your engineering core and manufacturing partners. I facilitate clear and concise communication, collaborate on and maintain a tactical schedule, and achieve milestone deliverables. Additionally, I build strong relationships with trusted manufacturers for long-term success.
- Ensuring all technical requirements are met, including those of your customers and the joint manufacturing partners, to avoid missed details throughout the critical MVP production run of your product.
- Designing and creating factory QC testing SOPs and programming stations tailored to your product, enabling early defect detection.
- Maintaining an in-person factory presence to monitor all aspects of the build, from boards to assembly and final packaging, guaranteeing a stable and shippable final product.
- Organize and supervise any post manufacturing run product updates and correcting factory oversights through a detail oriented QC process inhouse or via 3PL inventory control, ensuring customers receive a quality experience the first time they open the box.
Quality Engineering / Assurance Department Leadership
- Develop both short-term and long-term testing roadmaps encompassing comprehensive validation strategies, ensuring your product consistently delivers exceptional quality.
- Build and manage a cohesive team of local and international quality engineers, locking down expansive test coverage of customer requirements across all areas, including back-end services, third-party integrations, mobile and web clients, connected Bluetooth/Wi-Fi smart device firmware, electrical, and mechanical aspects.
- Orchestrate external user beta testing, customer trials, demos, and internal dogfooding. Working with Customer Success and Product teams to collect and analyze usage metrics.
- Implement Agile Scrum methodologies while efficiently triaging reported bugs and integrating fixes seamlessly alongside new feature development to maintain a smooth and efficient development process.
- Design and construct test jigs to enhance automated mechanical and electrical testing, complementing existing automated software testing practices.
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with engineering leaders and product owners to define a clear roadmap that reflects the customer voice while aligning with company vision and goals.
- Implement and train teams on proven Incident Management Systems to optimize engineering efficiency and promptly address critical customer-facing issues, minimizing downtime.
- Provide mentorship and guide individual growth in new tools and engineering disciplines, empowering team members and expanding the company’s skillset.
