Finally unglued myself to meet up with some friends from Cafe. I don't seem to remember ever hanging out with a setup crew outside of Burning Man that wasn't DPW. This was a nice change.

Later that night I got an email back from a whim Craiglist posting, sped off on my bike with a new toy in my bag. First time I've spent more then 5 minutes with a tablet. Such a nice change.
