Rubin Starset

As with any project, during a random night on the playa my good friend S4 turned us around (Spacebug and Starfive), pointed at these chaps and asked "Why?"

It turned into a thing, I pulled out my trusty dusty iPhone, started recording while walking up, and asked that very same question. The answer we got back was beyond anything we were expecting. In the end we interviewed about a dozen or so people through out the week. It was loads of fun and I'm really glad we all did it.

Working in the cafe always picks up my spirits. Even during the event, the sight of the crown flags puts a smile on my face.

My first night in Black Rock, walked up to the Ghetto to find a Sharpie on beer box sketching session. The kid was carried off stage in the mail box.
