Aged Wallet

Around 5 or 6 years old now. On its last legs, or flaps. Any suggestions on wallets that aren’t made out of leather?

Thanks, I appreciate the links. Now it’s a matter of being indecisive.

then, i’ll add that i’ve a number of things from eagle creek, including a wallet, and they’ve all worn well.
i don’t have anything from tinymeat. it may well be that vinyl wallets are better constructed these days, but ones i’ve had in the past have not held up well.

wow. it lasted a long time.
the store at global exchange has rubin-friendly (aka vegan) wallets. my current wallet is one of theirs. and it’s fair trade, too. (ignore the fact that i routinely stuff my wallet to the point of exploding with receipts, and they are actually nice and slim.)

oh, hm. looks like they don’t sell mine anymore… but they have a bunch of other options.
also, reed’s money clip/wallet combo is pretty nifty, craftsy, and seems better organized than mine. and not leather, but i could be misremembering. ask him about it.

    I use one of these.
Oh yeah. There’s, uh, really off-putting photography on that site. Sry.

I have a little satchel pouch thing of their I’ve been using for a while inside my Chrome bag, since Chrome doesn’t actually believe in pockets. Good stuff.

I have a nice looking canvas wallet (with a slightly military feel) that has lasted me fine — picked up at Target of all places for cheap. They had some others there too. Fossil makes some nice looking wallets too.
Anyways I know you like links and shopping online, but I think wallet’s are one thing that it pays to stop into a store for.

Oh yea, totally. Gotta figure out if it actually feels right in your pocket or not is fucking key.

I’ve got this usedrubber wallet, it’s really been working out for me. I’ve had it a few years now, and it’s been pretty happy. I have another one at home if you’d like to try it. (Mella used to use it till she found a cute green one)

I ended up going with their Super Skinny wallet, and I must say, this thing is perfect. I always thought that this cancer of a wallet which has been in my pocket for the past few years will never get any better.
    Thanks for the recommendation.
